A photographer is only as good as their equipment, right? Well, maybe not entirely, but having the right tools certainly makes the job easier. Here's a glimpse into the gear I currently use and my aspirations for future upgrades.

Cannon EOS Rebel T7

My photography journey began with the Cannon EOS Rebel T7. Paired with a versatile 28-80mm lens and a 75-300mm lens, this DSLR has been my reliable companion. While it was initially chosen as the most budget-friendly option for my photojournalism class, it has proven invaluable in learning the fundamental skills necessary to be a photographer. It has allowed me to grow and hone my craft.

Future upgrades

I'm currently looking to upgrade to a Cannon mirrorless camera. This upgrade would allow me to expand my skills, capture even better images and work more efficiently.

The importance of tools

While great equipment helps, the most important aspect of photography is my skill and passion for the sport. These skills help me capture the moment at the perfect time.
